A private school founded in 1941, Williams Baptist College is a liberal arts school affiliated with the Southern Baptist church. It is located on 185 acres in rural Walnut Ridge, Ark. Williams Baptist, named after founder H.E. Founded in 1837, West Liberty University is a public school located on 290 acres in rural West Liberty, W.V. The school is the oldest institution of higher learning in West Virginia. The school offers undergraduate degrees in five colleges: arts and communications; business; education; liberal arts; and sciences. West Liberty also has a school of professional studies which offers bachelor's degrees in applied science, organizational leadership and administration and arts.
