O*NET OnLine estimates that employment for web developers will expand by 7% to 13% through 2018, which is an average rate compared to all occupations. The median annual wage for web developers in 2010 was $75,660. Earning an associate's web design degree is generally enough to qualify for entry-level web production positions, but the skills and knowledge acquired with a bachelor's degree are often necessary to advance in the field.
