Wilmington University is a private institution founded in 1968 and located in New Castle, Del, although there are numerous campuses in Delaware and New Jersey, along with one in Maryland. It began offering bachelor’s degrees online in 2007. There is no Greek life at the university, but students may choose from about 30 clubs and organizations. The university’s 10 athletic teams are nicknamed the Wildcats and compete in the NCAA Division II Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.
