Physical Therapy Graduate Programs: Physical & Occupational Therapy Master’s Degrees

Physical therapists treat patients with injuries, diseases or age-related problems that impair their physical well-being. Occupational therapists help similar patients recover or improve their everyday living and working abilities. Both fields are education-intensive; you must earn a Master’s in Physical Therapy or a Master’s in Occupational Therapy to practice the respective professions (the master’s requirement is new in physical therapy, but has always been necessary in occupational therapy). Furthermore, doctorate-level degrees are commonly needed to acquire the best jobs, and might become the entry-level degree in both fields before long.
