The Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences offers four broad areas of study: applied mathematics, applied physics, computer science and engineering sciences. The school offers students the chance to earn a master’s degree in either science or engineering, and they can also work tuition-free toward a Ph.D. Students also can cross-register for courses in Harvard’s medical school, law school and business school. There are also 10 research centers on campus, including the Institute for Quantum Science and Engineering and the Center for Nanoscale Systems.
