Online Cyber Security Certification Programs

Cyber security certificates can prepare you to enter this field with about one year of cyber security training. However, most of these courses are designed for degreed professionals from other information technology (IT) fields – such as computer science or network administration – who want to develop cyber security expertise. Therefore, an existing IT skill set is usually required to enter cyber security certificate programs. Coursework is highly focused on providing specific and detailed cyber security knowledge, like cryptography, emerging threats and defenses, mobile security, secure code and security protocols.
