Earn Your Instructional or Educational Technology Certification Online

Since online education has become so popular over the last several years, many who work in the instructional technology field are now involved in producing Internet classes and other e–learning tools. Almost all instructional technology certificates are graduate–level certificates, which means you will need a bachelor’s degree (at minimum) if you want to enroll in an online instructional technology certificate program. Credits you earn in such a program can often be applied toward a master’s degree, usually in an education field.

The growing importance of computers and the Internet has created a huge demand for instructional technology professionals. The latest U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data projects that jobs in this field will expand by 20% through 2020 – a much faster than average pace when compared to all occupations.
