Earn Your Homeland Security Certification or Training Certificate Online

If you are studying for an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in law enforcement, an undergraduate homeland security certification can provide additional credits and teach you skills that will be quite valuable after entering the workforce. Graduate–level homeland security certificates are usually geared toward professionals already working in the field who want advanced administrative or technical training.

Because there are so many separate homeland security disciplines it is not possible to denote a single employment growth rate. However, the latest U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data projects that all of the major divisions will expand through 2018: law enforcement by about 11%, healthcare by up to 16% and emergency management by up to 12%. Holding a specialized homeland security certification — either at the undergraduate or graduate level — can help you find better jobs in the field.
