Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Job Outlook

RN to BSN degree programs provide you with the opportunity to earn a BSN by building on your existing nursing education and experience as an RN. This can take considerably less time than a regular BSN, usually one to three years depending on how many credits you are able to transfer and how much time you can devote to your studies.

Job prospects for RNs are excellent; the latest U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data projects that employment in the field will grow by 22% through 2018. RNs who have their BSN degree should have even better opportunities, which is the exact reason for completing an RN to BSN program.
