On-Campus and Online Economics Bachelor’s Degrees

Economists study and analyze data concerning currency values, cycles of growth and recession, employment levels, monetary inflation, taxation rates and other factors that affect the business world. Most find jobs in finance or government, but some economists work as academics, researching economic theories and teaching students. An economics bachelor’s degree can prepare you for entry-level business positions, but if you want to teach you will need to continue to at least the master’s level.
