Busy adults who want to go back to school to study computer science now have an additional option for doing so at Notre Dame de Namur University (NDNU). Recently, the school announced it will launch a Master of Science in Computer and Information Science program available entirely online, which makes it convenient for busy students hoping to advance their careers in a fast-growing field.

During the online master's program, students will gain the same theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills they would in a classroom, giving them the tools they need to become leaders in the computer science industry.

"Our online Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Science shows you how to design software solutions, then guides you as you develop the technical as well as management skills to put a complex project into practice - the result sought by organizations," said John Lemmon, the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the university.

The launch of this new online degree program highlights NDNU's efforts to give busy adults more options for pursuing higher education around their schedules. Earlier this year, the university created two additional online master's programs in public administration and management.
