Florida Tech Uses Mini MBA Program to Prepare Students in Fast-Growing Technology Field

In order to give students additional training in the fast-growing field of technology, Florida Tech University Online recently launched a mini master of business administration (MBA) graduate certificate program in information technology (IT) management, according to a press release.
Students who enroll in this program will have the same curriculum as the school's MBA degree seekers but will be able to earn their credential in eight months. The courses are available through online education, which can make it easier for full-time employees to advance their careers and develop new skills at their own pace.

Now, students who attend Florida Tech can earn a mini MBA certificate in IT management. mini MBA program will give students credit hours, which can be applied toward a full MBA degree once students complete the course. Currently, Florida Tech offers MBA programs with specializations in subjects such as IT management.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, students who receive training in IT can find many fast-growing positions after graduation. For example, jobs for computer programmers and computer software engineers are expected to grow by 21% through 2018, while positions for computer network, systems and database administrations are predicted to increase by 30% in this time frame.
