CollegeHumor makes buying textbooks fun.Recent data from OnCampus Research found that college students spend $655 on required course materials each year. While prices this high are no laughing matter, bachelor’s degree seekers have a new way to save on textbooks thanks to a promotion from CollegeHumor.com and Neebo, a network of almost 250 college bookstores.
In a recent press release, Neebo announced the partnership with CollegeHumor, as well as a promotion designed to help students save money between now and September 15. When they shop for their course materials through Neebo’s website, all they have to do is enter the promotional code "collegehumor" at checkout to receive 20% off their purchase.
At the same time, students have the option of entering their college’s name into a contest that will bring CollegeHumor stars Jake and Amir to the school with the most customers for a humorous live show.
"The cost of textbooks is at an all-time high; students spend an average of $700 a year on textbooks," said Steve Clemente, Neebo’s senior vice president. "Neebo helps students get the most out of their college experience, from saving money to bringing memorable and fun activities to their campus."
