Top Accelerated MBA Programs and One Year MBA Degrees
Accelerated MBA programs are sometimes called one year MBA programs, though they can require anywhere from 12 to 18 months to complete. In the shorter (12 month) courses of study, students typically start with intensive core classes during summer session, then join second-year MBA students for fall and spring sessions. Most of the longer (16 – 18 month) courses of study simply condense the work of four semesters in to three. Because a short time to completion is the goal of accelerated MBA programs, they are always full-time.

Employers in the business world always want to pick the best and brightest, so completing a MBA program online or on-campus can give you a significant edge over competitors who hold only a bachelor’s degree. According to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates, the advertising, marketing, promotions, public relations and sales manager professions – which employ many MBA holders – should expand by 13% through 2018. When compared to all occupations, this growth rate is about as fast as average.
