Master of Accountancy

Stetson University’s Master of Accountancy (MAcc) online program is specifically designed to ensure that students and busy professionals meet the academic requirements for the CPA Examination and continue on to successful, fulfilling accounting careers. The Stetson University MAcc provides professional accountants with the necessary range of knowledge and practical skills.

The program consists of ten courses that provide the additional 30 hours required for licensing in many states. The MAcc is intended to complement a student’s undergraduate foundation courses and CPA review preparation. Many states allow students to take parts of the CPA exam after they receive their bachelor’s degree but before they complete the required 150 hours. The courses in our program make up the remaining 30 hours and are positioned to supplement and enhance study for each individual part of the CPA exam.

Stetson is committed to making higher education as affordable as possible. We understand that you have questions and we are more than happy to help answer them. Many organizations also offer tuition assistance to employees and even cover 100 percent of tuition costs in some cases. Programs and policies vary among employers. Consult your human resources office to learn more about tuition assistance at your organization.
