St. Thomas has been partnering with public safety and law enforcement organizations for nearly 50 years to create innovative programs, including the only graduate program online that combines these two disciplines. Teaching: Graduate Credentials in Autism Spectrum Disorders
St. Thomas has been training teachers in the field of special education for 40 years. The university’s graduate credentials in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) help you gain the knowledge and skills you need to positively impact pre-school, elementary, teen and young adult learners with ASD in both classroom and community settings. Learn evidence-based best practices to help these students make meaningful connections with the people and world around them, so they can be as independent and successful as possible. Four different ASD training programs are available online:
- Master of Arts in Special Education with an Autism Spectrum Disorders License
- Master of Arts in Special Education with a Specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorders (Non-License)
- Special Education Teacher License in Autism Spectrum Disorders
- For-Credit Graduate Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders
