Since 1889 Texas A&M University-Commerce has been educating the people of Texas and beyond. As a member of the prestigious Texas A&M University System since 1996, A&M-Commerce currently offers more than 100 degrees—including more than 40 doctoral and master’s degrees, along with graduate and educator certificates.

Our accredited online degree programs are removing the geographic, time and financial barriers that often prevent students from achieving their education goals. Our online degree programs include the same comprehensive core content that is offered on campus. Every online course is taught by the same respected A&M-Commerce faculty members who teach on campus.

Master of Science in Applied Criminology

Texas A&M University-Commerce developed this pioneering criminology program to provide current and future leaders in the criminal justice with a comprehensive, theoretical and practical outlook of the evolving field while enhancing a broad set of knowledge and industry acumen.

Texas A&M University-Commerce provides students financial assistance through federal programs. Our students are offered Pell Grants and Direct Loans. Undergraduate students may apply for and receive aid through all of the federal programs, whereas graduate students may only qualify for Direct Loans. Both undergraduate and graduate students may apply for and receive scholarships to help pay for costs. However, students are not eligible to apply for Emergency Short-Term Loans or Book Loans.
