Nebraska Methodist College was founded in 1891 in Omaha, Nebraska. We are an accredited, not-for-profit institution with 120 years of experience in nursing education. We have been teaching online for 15 years, and have offered advanced nursing degrees online for 10 years. Nebraska Methodist College is Fully Accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The state of Nebraska Board of Nursing has approved the BSN program for the preparation of students to become registered nurses. Graduates are eligible to take the National Council of State Boards Licensure Examinations (NCLEX-RN). Both the BSN and MSN are accredited by: Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)

Nebraska Methodist College ranked first in both its 5-year and 6-year graduation rates among all private and public colleges and universities in Nebraska (21 in all). NMC’s ranked 5th in 4-year graduation rates.

Campus Life:

Once accepted into the RN-BSN, RN-MSN or MSN program, students participate in an online orientation. Orientation familiarizes students with online learning so that they are well prepared for their time with Nebraska Methodist College.

Included in the MSN program is a student executive service. This means that during your time at Nebraska Methodist College, you will have help in electing courses, automatic course registration, as well as textbooks sent to your home. Students also have access to online tutoring and advising, as well as library services and the bookstore.
